Welcome to Boomer411. We hope you will visit again. You can also subscribe to our RSS feed.

There is a lot of interest among people to help elders live their independent lives for as long as possible. Also, as more and more people start retiring and begin to navigate the new landscape of retired lifestyles and the issues that come with it, sometimes a peer support group facilitated by a social expert can offer invaluable psychological support and help. Many such groups are being formed throughout the nation. Some of the recently formed groups are listed here, use this link to find support groups in your area. This list is dynamic and so will keep on growing, so you can visit often to find such groups.

Also, do you know of a support group that is not listed here, if so please submit the name, url and any other pertinent location details in the comments to this post.
