Today’s quote reminds us about the value evaluating our assumptions, beliefs. Though it is so easy to drift into the mindless auto-pilot mode and just react, if we reflect upon it, some of our worst decisions probably happened when we were operating in this mode. Because if we operate based on our common sense or hearsay, then we are not really taking the opportunity presented by the situation to make the best of the situation. So we lose valuable opportunities thus. This quote reminds us that common sense may not always lead us to good solutios.

“Common sense is nothing more than a deposit of prejudices laid down by the mind before you reach eighteen” – Albert Einstein
